ALL PRACTICES ARE AT UPPER SPRINGLAND, PERTH

Where is Upper Springland?

PIPING:

Learners on the chanter - Mondays 7pm to 8pm.

Pipers at Novice Juvenile grade - Mondays and Thursdays 7pm to 8.30pm.

Pipers at grade 4A - Mondays and Thursdays 7pm to 9pm.

DRUMMING:

Learners on the drum pad - Mondays 7pm to 8pm

Learners on drums - Mondays 7pm to 8pm and Thursdays 7pm to 8.30pm.

Competing drummers - Mondays and Thursdays 7pm to 9pm.

Total newcomers will normally be given a few weeks to see if piping / drumming is for you without any outlay on tutor books etc. After that you will need to purchase the required tutor book from the band and chanter / pad.

If you are new to piping / drumming then please be assured that advice will be given about the standard of equipment which needs to be purchased eg chanter. When it comes to playing pipes it may be possible to have a loan of a set for a short time but eventually a set of pipes will need to be bought.  Drums and harnesses are supplied by the band.

Those with some piping or drumming experience are welcome to come along to our practices. Hopefully, you will like what you see and join the band!
